I live 1/2 block away from Guastavino’s and I walked by on New Years Eve. Overall I can’t say I’m all that surprised that this happened based on the description of the coat check area and the fact that everyone was drunk and leaving at the same time magnified by the fact that the coat checking system was breaking down and the bouncers seemed to be well…bad.

But from your description morning after I thought it was going to be something different and much worse. Would like to see the videos.

Who cares? The business has every right to charge, and if ppl are dumb enough to pay for such a stupid “service”, why not do it? You and your friends and the rest of the constomers are stupid, not them. They are trying to maximize their profits all while watching ppl act like idiots…entertainment for them. Sounds all around amazing for the business. Now that you are other ppl wont stop talking about this place, I’m sure business will be up as ppl will be curious to check this place out.
