Just buy sweatpants.

Not surprising on the NBA thing. I can't tell you how many times I screamed at Vinny Del Negro as my Bulls held the ball with 40 seconds left and took a shot when the clock hit about 20. The 2 for 1 is an extremely simple thing to calculate and it's clearly +EV to do it in so many situations, yet while accepted, it is not regularly done.

But just look at how long it took for teams to start using proven statistics in MLB. It took 15 years of very smart people pestering organizations, continued success of a small market franchise (Oakland) and a book (Moneyball) for these 9 figure valued teams to start accepting and using valuable statistics that had been around and easily accessible since at least the 80s.

The question is how many pairs of expensive jeans do you have, and how often do you buy them? If you indeed wear the pair 40x/year, then you should have around 9-12.
Over 14 pairs is excessive, unless you are david williams.
Are you ever going to blog about poker? It looks like you are having a killer month. Do you still play tournies?

I agree about designer jeans. Old Navy ones make me look like I'm wearing mom jeans. http://www.hulu.com/watch/10333/saturday-night-live-mom-jeans
